Autumn Leaves

9-9-2013The leaves are bit by bit getting bright new colours. And falling down. I was thinking that both my favourite seasons, Autumn and Spring, reflect in some ways me as a person. Autumn with its maturity and quiet time for thinking, somewhat sentimental. Spring as a time of new bright childlike joy, enthusiasm and happiness.

  1. nice one elina, for me the the seasons, especially spring, signifies change and renewal. i really enjoyed it during my uni days in the uk, my first winter – building a snowman, good memories …
    have a good day ahead.

    1. That’s true, seasons always bring along change and start of something new. It’s nice to have 4 seasons. Great to hear your thoughts! Have a lovely day!

  2. I really like the low point of view in this photo, very nicely done. Makes me wish autumn would hurry up and get here! Then I want a very short “stick season” followed by a lot of snow this winter! I love hiking in the winter!

      1. Now if only we can find a way to make the color last, and get the leaves to stay on the trees a little longer…

Then two days after all the leaves fall, get dumped on with snow!

  3. I love the autumn colours they can be so pretty! This picture is like a memory of autumn, just a little out of focus, just a little in focus – like remembering some of it, but not quite all of it! ๐Ÿ™‚
