Painting

06.11.2013“Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.” (Henry Ward Beecher)

Such a lovely quote. I had a chance to visit a room where art students work. So inspiring!

  1. The painting is probably the most true it is art, it appears that the personality of the artist, his Γ©mmotion and sensitivity of the present moment. The work of the material and colors on a canvas brings an intense moment full of happiness, magical, beautiful.

  2. I love that quote – and so true! Your picture is very attractively enticing, makes me want to get back to painting. I’ve been so busy here on WordPress in the last year I haven’t done any for a long time. So I know what I have to do now – look at pictures with little pools of colourful painting waiting to brushed on!! πŸ˜€

    1. It’s lovely to hear you paint Suzy! I had the same idea when I saw these paints… that I would love to try painting again. Just “sadly” there are so many interesting things I would love to do but no time for all of them. I have a long list in my head for retirement years when I will (maybe) have too much time πŸ™‚ So nice of you to share your thoughts again Suzy! πŸ™‚

      1. Yes I know the feeling, never enough time in the day, and if you have a family as well it must be very difficult – you are needed in so many different places. You just have to pick the ones that mean the most to you and those you’re good at, and become excellent in doing a few. And it certainly looks like you are achieving that with the photography!! πŸ˜€
