Sometimes I feel like the strangest things attract my attention. Like these three empty glasses with red straws in them, in this scene. Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

I am amazed at the simplicity of this scene but the impact that it has Elina 😀 Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful work, I love it. The composition, monochrome, and red straws everything is just perfect. Oh by the way did I mention it is wonderful, LOL.
😀 You are wonderful Joe! Thank you so much, your words mean a lot and brought a big smile on my face. 🙂
What can I say I LOVE IT AND SO DOES MY WIFE ! 😀
You two are so sweet! Thank you both and warm greetings to your wonderful wife! 🙂
Thank you 😀
i agree with joe, completely!
Thank you so much Sirpa! 🙂
For some reason this picture makes me smile 🙂
I’m really happy to hear that, always glad to bring a smile to someone’s face. 🙂 Thank you!
Did you line them up or where they like that already 😀
They were like that. Real life and I’m just an observer. 🙂 Thank you for your comment!
Selective color is often over used but this is just great. It raises a question, at least in my mind. Were there 3 people? Or did one person have two drinks and his/her friend only one? Or was it someone like me who would have all 3 drinks to themselves then amble on home? And sleep it off? Happy New Year to you, Elina.
I have the same understanding on selective color. Here I felt it just has to be so that the straws would really stand out. There were three people who left that table with glasses just when we came in to sit at the table next to it. And I just fell in love with this scene. 🙂 About the drinks, I’m not sure they were alcoholic ones. But who knows. It’s nice to hear that you saw a story in this photo. A very Happy New Year to you too Emilio! Thank you for such a lovely comment, I always enjoy hearing your thoughts!
Perfect
Thank you Barb! 🙂
Lovely picture – it tells an entire story! I don’t know anything about the technical side of photography, so have no idea how you got the monochrome/colour combination, but it has a wonderful impact! Great capture of a moment in time and space!
Your photos are an integral part of my life now. 🙂 So technology can be a good thing… 🙂
Thank you so much Aldous, it’s always wonderful to hear your thoughts! And I agree, technology can be good. Have a very lovely weekend! 🙂
This composition is nothing but the perfection! I guess that you can’t just take a walk Elina. Because every time you turn the head, you see someting to shoot. I know that you will sell this picture! Take the money and run! 🙂
Smiling here… 🙂 Thank you Meho for a very cool and encouraging comment!
This is beautiful. I normally am not a fan of selective color at all — it usually feels so random and inartistic, but this is the exact opposite! Wonderful, really!
Such kind words Celena, thank you so much! 🙂
This is a hit! I don’t know all the right photography vocabulary to use so I’ll jus say that I like it!
Your sincere words without photography vocabulary are enough to bring a smile to my face. 🙂 Thank you LB!
Wonderful capture!
Thank you so much Isabel, I appreciate your kind wordsl! 🙂
Brilliant Elina, for some reason it made me chuckle, there’s humour in there 🙂
😀 I guess there is humour in there. Thank you Mike!
Like Celena I am not normally a fan of selective colour work but I do really like this. Great shot and well spotted Elina, MM 🍀
