  1. Wonderful street photo Elina, I love the composition where the woman and the bike are in sharp focus and gradually fading to a blur. Perfect use of the rule of thirds with a very light vignette added. Just perfect, well done, I love it 😀

    1. Thank you so much Joe, such kind words! 🙂 It is one of the shots I took in November on our street photography day with the course. Bit by bit I am editing those. It’s strange how with some photos you need to wait and let them settle for a while before you feel like working on them. There comes a good day for each photo it seems. 🙂

      1. You are exactly correct Elina, every photo has it’s day. You did a wonderful job editing it, I tend to cook my black and white photos a little too much, I should process them like I eat my pasta, Al Dente, LOL.

      2. I’ve always enjoyed your b&w photos and never thought they are overcooked. 🙂 I have the opposite I think, sometimes I could be more courageous with darker tones. Thank you for your kind words again Joe! 🙂

      3. Can’t recall if you follow Lens and Pens Sally’s blog. She puts up two photos and invites folk to say which they like best and why. Why not put up two similar pictures, one overcooked the other not, and see what people think of the two? It might help with deciding whether to go for a change to darker tones.

      4. That’s a good idea! Usually I don’t have a problem choosing… but it happened with one photo that my teacher asked me to try to make it much darker and it came out much better than my previous edit. I guess I learned something from that.
I think I haven’t been to Sally’s blog, I need to check it out. Thank you for a kind comment and maybe in the future in case of hesitation I will start to put two differently edited photos. 🙂

    1. Thank you Ingo, I appreciate your kind words! 🙂 Thank you also for the many likes you’ve left on my posts and for the follow! Lovely to have you here!

I so love your street photos, you’re so good at it ! This one is amazing. I like the fact that she’s not looking in front of her but to her side, it makes this photo so realistic. Great capture Elina !
