  1. What an excellent and thought-provoking photograph! Found myself wondering:
-Is it the model or one of the photographers we see?
-If a photographer she presumably isn’t taking a picture (feet would probably be apart for that). Is she perhaps standing arms folded, looking carefully at the model, deciding what sort of shot to take?
-Or with one hand cupping her elbow, the other hand up to her chin, puzzling out a good angle for the shot she has chosen?
-If it is the model is she just waiting to start? Maybe, but it seems a rather tense stance for that.
-Or is she already in position? Perhaps with hands on hips, or resting on that object in front of her? -And what is that object anyway? πŸ™‚

    1. What a great comment Trifocal! So interesting to read your thoughts! I wonder if you even want to know the answers. πŸ™‚ It is our model, posing for someone else while I was waiting for my turn to get to photograph her. The object is a painting. We were in art students’ classroom. Thank you for your very kind words! πŸ™‚

  2. I love this image Elina, you look like you painstakingly waited to get a really unique angle and glorious light. Superbly done. Have a great day πŸ™‚

    1. I noticed this scene while waiting for my turn to take the “actual” photos (portraits) of our model. I’ve started to realise that my favourite angle for taking photos is 0-20 cm from the ground. πŸ™‚ Thank you for your kind words Joe and have a lovely day!

I agree entirely with the illustrious Senhor Silva. This is an outstanding piece of art.

I used to love women in high heels. But the trend nowadays looks too dangerous. There is a woman in my office who wears heels that also have soles about 3 inches in height so that she stands well over 6 feet. And the sound of her clomping down the hallway…? Does anyone find this sexy or attractive?

    1. Dangerous yes. πŸ™‚ I wear high heels on rare occasions myself but I think they do add a very feminine touch to one’s look. Great to hear your thoughts Emilio! πŸ™‚

    1. I bet all young girls would like to own a pair of high heel shoes. πŸ™‚ As little as I’ve used high heels they are definitely not very comfortable, compared to flats at least. πŸ™‚ I guess if you wear them daily you can get used to them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts KAP!

  4. I love the way you see the world Elina…
I may have done something similar… ha ha… can often be found on the ground πŸ˜‰
This is a strong image. Wonderful!

    1. Thank you Robyn for such kind words! I see a lot of similarity in the way we see the world, and take photos, that’s really wonderful. πŸ™‚

      1. I do agree Elina.
Do hope you’re enjoying your course. That is something I would really love to do again. Im enjoying your progress πŸ™‚

      2. Thank you Robyn! I really am enjoying my course.. it will come to an end soon and I’m already trying to think what next… I would like to study more. These days it’s possible to study on your own also via all the articles and tutorials on the internet but I must say working in a group with other students is still something different and more fulfilling for me. πŸ™‚ So you have taken photography courses? Sounds lovely!

      3. Studying with other students is a great way to learn.
Im glad you’re enjoying it and yes I completely agree about learning. I consider it a privilege πŸ™‚
I did a darkroom photography course as part of a Visual Arts course. It was wonderful. With photography there’s so much to learn. Love that!

      4. Darkroom photography sounds great, I’d love to learn that one day. I agree you can never fully learn photography, and that’s the fun part. πŸ™‚

  5. This feels like a picture that could have a story in it. There’s something about shoes or feet, when you can’t see the rest of the person that is so intriguing! I hope you had a great time photographing that model, sounds like a good photography course! πŸ™‚

    1. You are right seeing only a person’s shoes is intriguing. πŸ™‚ I did have a great time photographing her, a wonderful experience. My photography course has been really good. I admire our teachers, they’ve been really great. Thank you for a lovely comment Suzy!
