      1. You’re very welcome, and I will. I’m heading out soon for a 32 mile hike in the mountains and won’t be back to civilization until Sunday πŸ˜€

      2. Your plans sound great! It’s midsummer weekend here and we are also heading out of the city to the countryside for a few days. πŸ™‚

  1. I love this shot! I’m always drawn to photos that have a shallow DOF. All of the elements work to bring it together but I think what really works for them is the limited focusing which helps give it a different perspective. The details are nice and it also gives a sort of peaceful feeling for me. Great job! πŸ™‚

The depth of field is great but what puts it over the top for me is what you chose to focus on. I just love it! Beauty in the everyday!

  3. Isn’t that often the way it is? Lovely sunny day turned into hail or downpours of rain! We had a day like that where I am in the UK, very humid air suddenly turned to lightning and rain, no hail yet! I bet the plants were pleased, they needed it!

I love your picture of the stream, has a lovely soft blue hue on the water and sky, that’s really perfect! πŸ™‚ It reminds me so much of one I used to play around when I was little, catching little fish in jars, and then letting them go again. Those fish must have wondered what on earth happened to them for a moment! πŸ˜€

    1. Wonderful to hear your memories from childhood Suzy! It’s cool how such moments as catching little fish in jars are so precious and we remember them for long. Lovely to hear your thoughts! πŸ™‚
