  1. I can feel the stillness in the air. The composition of the grasses is lovely. Made me smile instantly, as so many of your photos do. Have the best weekend, Elina. πŸ™‚

    1. Maybe you are right Paulo… and, I think in good company everything is better. πŸ™‚ Thank you for your kind words and have a lovely weekend!

  2. What a wonderful image to look at after a couple of hot and sticky days in New York Elina πŸ™‚ I could imagine sitting here as the sea breeze sways the tall grasses back and forth and the dreamy horizon fades to the bright orange colors of a sunset. Just beautiful. You have a great weekend also πŸ™‚

    1. What a wonderful description for this scene Joe! πŸ™‚ It really was beautiful. Thank you and I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

    1. I guess it does… or at least it lets us enjoy those moments longer, remember them better, and come back to them. Thank you for a lovely comment Tric! πŸ™‚

  3. Suddenly it brings memories of my childhood, the same way as the smell of salty sand makes you almost revive the days in the beach. Thanks. I think there is so much beauty in this your photograph.

    1. It really was peaceful there. I think it is wonderful how in a big city you can find places like that. Thank you Julie! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Suzy! πŸ™‚ I did get some more photos but not the typical red-orange sunset tones… the sun sets so late these days that we didn’t wait for that. We had been photographing a few hours already, we actually went to take photos of abandoned buildings and this scene was after that when we had sat down to rest and enjoy the beautiful view.

  4. Thought I’de drop by and check out your work again. I really love your style of photography Elina. This image is just fantastic! Love the bokeh πŸ™‚

  5. Lovely shot Elina. For me this is Finnish summer πŸ™‚ (even though for me the water has usually been a lake) I love these delicate heys and have caught my self photographing them many times.
Glad to have found your blog πŸ™‚
