“Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.” – David Alan Harvey
I think that’s a lovely thought. I also think photography can be seen as a form of art, a way of expressing yourself. It doesn’t always need to document reality so precisely.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Hi very wise words. Thanks
Hi Andy! Thank you for the visit and your kind comment! 🙂
I love that, Elina, and will remember it next time I go for a walk with my camera! Thank you for sharing. Beautiful photograph
Thank you so much for this lovely comment Renate! 🙂
” I also think photography can be seen as a form of art”, good thing too because i cannot draw or paint..
Me neither, or at least I think I cannot draw or paint. 🙂 They say once you start you can learn it. I’d like to try one day. 🙂 Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
I hope you have better luck than me 🙂 Have a good one too

And you are an artist, Elina. You capture the feeling of life, be it plants, nature, a snail, or people in the city living their every day. Thanks for posting, as always. Have the best weekend. 🙂

Wow, this is really beautiful Elina, and very definitely art!! 🙂
Thank you Suzy, lovely to hear these kind words! 🙂
Never thought about that before, but now that I have read that quote it’s how I try to shoot every time I go out with the camera. I try to capture something that gives the feeling of how it is at different points in my walk. I also shoot to try and create art, not reality. I think I’m getting better at processing and hope I continue to progress to make my photography feel more like art.
Great shot! 🙂
So great to hear your thoughts Justin! I think your photography is wonderful, and definitely art! 🙂 Thank you for your kind words!
