  1. These images are so cool and he is getting so big, wow. When I was young like your son (before the ice age) I enjoyed skating and other outdoor activities in the winter. Now the kids seem to sit in front of the television and play video games and eat McDonalds (and the mothers wonder why their children are obese). We never had fast food growing up and I think I had my first fast food hamburger when I got my first job and car at 16 years old. Then it was all downhill from there, LOL 🙂

    1. 🙂 What a fun comment Joe! So nice to hear these photos brought back some memories from your childhood. So far my kids really enjoy being outdoors, but I suppose when they reach certain age I might need to trick them to go out and not sit at the computer the whole day. 🙂
I believe I ate fast food for the first time also around the age of 15 or 16… in my childhood in the Soviet Union there was only slow food. 🙂 I think and hope at some point there will be a slow food revolution coming up. Myself I somehow never learned to enjoy fast food much.
Thank you so much for your kind words Joe! Enjoy the weekend! 🙂

    1. It is much fun with kids, and skating. My son has just learned to skate, so wonderful to watch kids learn new skills. Thank you Patti and have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

    1. He’s five and learned to skate this winter. He’s so good at it now. It’s wonderful to watch kids learn new skills, I admire their endless energy and motivation. 🙂
