Favorite Cafeteria

A visit to my favorite cafeteria in Helsinki, Cafe Kokko. I love the atmosphere there and I’m fascinated by all the unique details in their interior design. Wonderfully warm service, good coffee and their inspiring and delicious raw cakes keep me going back there. This time I tried a carrot cake and it was so tasty!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

  1. Great images and the contrast for me was the best part. The opening shot reminds me of my High School for some reason, and it was a resonating feeling of nostalgia…which was then matched perfectly with the coffee because often that is the best part of drinking coffee ~ thinking back and reminiscing and getting inspired for the day. And carrot cake is one of my favorites ~

    1. Lovely to hear this brought back memories. ๐Ÿ™‚ I like your philosophy on drinking coffee! Thank you for your thoughtful comment Randall! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. oh, I can see why it’s your favorite, Elina! What a charming place and that cake looks awesome…I’d weigh 300 pounds if I lived near that!

  3. This looks beautiful Elina!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Raw cakes sound very interesting. I found a blog a while back that specialised in raw cake recipes. A growing trend I think, probably a lot more healthy!

    1. Raw cakes have such different and in a way more full taste compared to baked ones. Indeed it might be a growing trend.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comment Suzy! I hope you are enjoying the summer! ๐Ÿ™‚
